Introduction

Thank you for taking time to read my profile. 

<< I was a BANKER and a TEACHER >> 
I worked as a Banker after graduating from NTU (Specializing in Financial Analysis). Thereafter, I became a Teacher as I wanted to set up my own tuition centres which I successfully did eventually. 

I had to wind up my tuition business due to some personal commitments, I needed a more flexible work schedule. After revaluating my strength and the current market conditions, I looked at all areas where I can contribute positively and I decided on the Real Estate profession (albeit against my family's & friends' advices).

Prior to becoming a real estate agent myself, my impressions of property agents have been quite negative. My own experience with agents when I hunted for my first HDB had been quite bad. The agents were very pushy, quite dodgy and impatient. After viewing only 3 units in Bishan, we settled on my first HDB but it was not our "best choice". We bought it as our agent kept telling us there were "limited units for sale", "better buy before the units are taken up" and "no point looking at more units as all units are the same". On hind sight, we should not have succumbed to the agent's selling tactics. 

Many of my friends also had similar experiences with property agents. To them, agents are all slimy and cunning, like snakes or foxes. 

I didn't like Real Estate Agents, so I became one myself. I felt that with my financial background, I can help clients understand their financial positions better before making any decisions on their sale or purchase of any real estate (especially since this could possibly be the biggest ticket item they would be getting in their life). My teaching experience will allow me to explain the situations to them and resolve any issues or problems they might face in a systematic manner. Teachers are also expected to conduct themselves with upmost integrity, so my clients can expect nothing less. 

I wanted to be the agent people can trust and discuss their concerns with. Like a Banker who can calculate their financial risks and a Teacher who can solve their problems with.
